• Booking
The non refundable booking fee and bridal trial a total of £135.00 is required to hold and secure the date of your wedding. The final balance must then be paid 4 weeks prior to the wedding date via bank transfer. If any changes are made to the booking within 4 weeks of the wedding date, that doesn’t incur a further charge, you will still be charged the final balance shown on your invoice. For bookings of 6/7 or more and depending on the ceremony time, an additional stylist may be required for a £60.00 fee. I have a minimum booking of the bride and 3 adults on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
• Cancellation policy
If in the unlikely event you need to cancel your bridal hair within 12 weeks prior to your wedding date, 50% of the total balance is to be paid via bank transfer. Cancellation less than 4 weeks the full balance will still need to be paid shown on your invoice. In all cases of cancellations the booking fee remains non-refundable.
If extremely unforeseen circumstances arise that I am unable to attend your booking due to illness, injury, personal emergency or any circumstance beyond my control, I will contact you at the earliest opportunity and arrange a replacement hairstylist with a similar style who will look after your wedding day hairstyling. This cannot, however, be guaranteed and if I am unable to find a replacement stylist you will receive a full refund, less any trial costs.
• Cancellations due to circumstances out of your control
If you need to cancel your booking due to a circumstance outside of your control (for example a local lockdown). In this instance, your booking fee can be transferred to a new date without charge, although additional costs may apply (inflation/different year) and providing I am available on the new date. If I am unavailable on the new date, a full refund will be given (less any trial costs) and I will recommend another stylist with a similar style.
• Hair requirements
Please note, all hair must be washed and blowdried the day before the wedding day and the bridal trial (in the morning if your hair gets particularly oily or booked in for a blowdry) All hair prep will be sent a week before your wedding day and bridal trial, for the bride and your bridal party.
• Bridal Trial
The bridal trial for the bride is required along with a non refundable booking fee to secure your date. If a second bridal trial is requested the same fee applies as for the first trial (£85.00). All bridal trials take place at my home in Plymouth (PL4) 6-12 weeks prior to your wedding date.
• Health and safety
Under any circumstances, I am not responsible for any allergic reactions to products used. It is up to the client to give myself advance notification if you or any of your group/wedding party have particular hypersensitivity that you are aware of. It’s your responsibility to provide an adequate working area with access to a suitable amount of plug sockets to support completion in the acceptable amount of time.
• Photography
It is imperative that i continue to update my portfolio and demonstrate my work to future prospective brides. You agree that I can photograph yourself, the bride and everyone who is having their hair styled within your bridal party and use them on social media/website for promotional purposes. Please let me know in advance if you do not wish to be photographed or not happy to share the images for marketing purposes.
• Travel Expenses
The client will cover any necessary travel expenses for services which is quoted within the time of booking. For bookings over 3 hour round trip from my home, a hotel will be required at the expense of the client. Any parking charges will need to be notified to myself before arrival and paid by yourself.
• Data protection
By law it is required to keep records of your services, and this includes personal data. Your personal data is stored securely and is not visible to anyone other than the stylist at any time. These records are kept for six years, after which time, if you are no longer a client, your personal data will be destroyed. Records will be automatically deleted at the six year point after your last appointment following the data protection law.
